DURHAM – The Duke baseball team outhit Bucknell 20-3 on its way to a decisive 18-1 win on Sunday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park to take the series against the Bison.

 RJ Schreck combined for 10 hits and 11 RBIs to pace the Blue Devil offense. Mooney finished the day 4-for-6 with two doubles and four RBIs. Pauley and Schreck each went 3-for-5 as Pauley added three RBIs on a pair of doubles and Schreck drove four in with a double and a home run.

Seidl started on the mound for the Blue Devils, producing an excellent six innings. Seidl earned the quality start and the win, allowing just one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight in his six innings of work. The Bison's Austin Odell was tagged with the loss as the Blue Devils jumped on him quick, scoring seven runs in the first two innings.

Damon Lux recorded a solo home run in the first inning to open the scoring. In the next frame, sophomoreÂ
Luke Storm also hit a solo longball to kick off a seven-run inning for Duke. Storm was the first of eight consecutive Blue Devils to reach base behind five hits, including doubles from Mooney and Pauley and a home run by Schreck.

Bucknell got on the board in the top of the third inning to make it 8-1. Duke added five more runs in the bottom of the fourth as the first six runners got on base. Mooney cleared the bases with a three-RBI double down the right field line. Schreck plated the last run of the inning with a single to left field.Â

The Blue Devils tacked on another five runs across the fifth, sixth and seventh innings. FreshmanÂ
Andrew Yu hit a sacrifice fly to left field to score seniorÂ
Chris Crabtree in the fifth. Four hits in the sixth, including a double from rookie

Grant Norris concluded Duke's scoring with a solo shot to center field in the seventh.

Duke continues its 15-game home stretch with two midweek matchups with UMass Lowell in the coming week. The Blue Devils and the River Hawks are set for games at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

- Seidl opened the season without allowing a hit in 10 innings pitched. He is holding batters to a .048 batting average in 13.2 innings of work this season.
- Lux has hit home runs in back-to-back games for the first time in his career.Â
- Duke's 11 home runs in the series with Bucknell is the most since at least 2014.Â
- The Blue Devils' 20 hits in the contest were the most since Duke tallied 22 against Troy in June 2018 at the Athens Regional.
