Morgan's Message
- Friday's game against Virginia will be a Morgan's Message game. Morgan's Message is an organization whose mission is to "amplify stories, resources, and expertise to confront student-athlete mental health, build a community by and for athletes, and provide a platform for advocacy." The organization strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics.

The Opening Hit
- Duke splits the weekend, hosting Virginia Friday and hitting the road to Richmond Sunday. The matchup against the Cavaliers leaves the Blue Devils with one remaining home contest.

Scouting Virginia
- Virginia arrives in Durham with a 7-3 overall record and ranked sixth nationally. The Cavaliers are 2-1 against ACC foes and coming off a 2-0 shutout of No. 5 Louisville and a 3-0 blanking of No. 19 William & Mary. Virginia has not allowed a goal in 205:36, dating back to the 3-2 victory against Saint Joseph's. The four shutouts are tied for seventh nationally.
- Laura Janssen leads the attack with seven goals and 15 points, while Daniela Mendez-Trendler has five goals and 13 points. Nine different Cavaliers have scored at least one goal this season and Noa Boterman and Cato Geusgens have three goals apiece. Defensively, the Cavaliers are allowing 1.29 goals per game with Tyler Kennedy and Jet Trimborn splitting time in the cage. Kennedy has started six games and has a 1.99 goals against average and a .703 save percentage. She is 3-3 in her six starts. Trimborn, 4-0 in her four starting assignments, has a 0.45 goals against average and a .818 save percentage. The freshman backstop has started the past four games for the Cavaliers.

- Lindsey Frank and Regan McCrossan are the scoring leaders with 15 points apiece. McCrossan is the top goal scorer with seven tallies, while Frank has five goals and five assists.
