DURHAM - The Duke volleyball team dropped a 3-1 match (15-25, 16-25, 30-28, 22-25) to 11th-ranked Georgia Tech Friday evening at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
How it Happened
	- Three Georgia Tech players tallied 10 or more kills as the Yellow Jackets hit .236 as a team.
- Duke was led offensively by Gracie Johnson with 23 kills, followed by Rylie Kadel with a career-high 13. Devon Chang dished 46 assists while Nikki Underwood and Sydney Tomlak added 17 and 11 digs, respectively.
- The Yellow Jackets came out of the gate fast with a .308 hitting percentage and limited the Blue Devils to a negative clip to take a 1-0 lead.
- Georgia Tech's Erin Moss tallied three blocks and posted a .258 hitting percentage as it took a 2-0 set lead heading into the third. Johnson tallied six kills, but couldn't get in a steady offensive rhythm.
- Johnson, Kadel and Kerry Keefe tallied 15 of Duke's 17 kills in the third set to help push the match to a fourth set. As one team would get a lead, the other team would have an answer to the back-and-forth affair during the final few points. Georgia Tech's third service error of the set brought up set point (29-28) for Duke just before Keefe buried a nice set to the right side from Chang to force a fourth set.
- Both squads came out swinging in the fourth with Duke's best percentage of the day (.281). Johnson settled into her offensive rhythm with eight kills and just one error on 13 swings to hit .538 percent. Despite Duke's efforts, it couldn't hold off the 11th-ranked Yellow Jackets.
