- Friday's meet will serve as a critical tune-up for the Pre-Nationals in Tallahassee, Fla., on Oct. 15. The field will feature several out-of-region opponents and give the Blue Devils a fresh perspective before upcoming national events.
- The Blue Devil men took 11 of the top-13 spots at the Elon Opener and will look to duplicate that success with a similar lineup in Boston.
- Ambrosio, a native of Avon, Ohio, was one of the best in the conference last season, earning All-ACC honors and helping the Blue Devils finish 16th at the NCAA Championship.
- The men are checking in at No. 5 in the southeast region, while the women remained at No. 5 in the region for the second straight week.
- The men will face a competitive field, headlined by No. 6 Arkansas. The Blue Devils are the first team out of the top-30, checking in with 32 votes, just four behind No. 30 Weber State.
- On the women's side, the Blue Devils will see No. 13 North Carolina, No. 22 Connecticut, and No. 26 Providence. The Blue Devils continue to receive votes in the USTFCCCA rankings, checking in with three in the latest poll.
- The last time the Blue Devils competed in Boston, Reinhart earned All-ACC honors at the 2018 ACC Championship, finishing 20th. Reinhart has finished in the top-20 in four straight regular season cross country meets and is poised to be one of the top Blue Devils in the race.
- Hamilton will be back in action for the first time since winning ACC Co-Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 7. Hamilton ultimately finished 10th at Elon with a time of 14:09.6.
