Duke Selected 2022 ACC Championship Host for Fencing, Track & Field

DURHAM, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference unveiled its championship dates and sites for the 2021-22 academic year on Wednesday, with Duke selected as the host institution for the 2022 ACC Fencing Championship and the 2022 ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championship.
Following a historic 2021 campaign, Duke welcomes the fencing championship for the third time in program history. The 2022 championship is set for February 26-27 at Cameron Indoor Stadium, after previously hosting the championship in 1974 and in 2017. Duke captured both ACC team titles in 2021 in Chapel Hill, and looks to defend their crowns in 2022. It was previously announced that Duke will host the 2023 NCAA Fencing Championship at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Fresh of the program's first ACC women's outdoor track & field championship, the Blue Devils play host to the 2022 ACC Outdoor Championship at Morris Williams Stadium, May 12-14, with eyes on defending their home field and ACC title. The event returns to Durham for the first time since 2011, but for the first time at Morris Williams Stadium that opened in 2015. Duke welcomes the best in the ACC for the 11th time in men's track & field and fourth time on the women's side.
