Deja Davis has been selected Duke's PNC Achiever's Student-Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Blue Devils to a 4-1 weekend to open ACC action.

The Cerritos, Calif., native started all five games and led the team at the plate, going 9-for-15 with a .600 batting average, .933 slugging percentage and two RBIs. Of Davis' nine hits, three were extra-base hits and her two triples came in Duke's 3-1 victory over Notre Dame on Sunday.Â

Davis had at least one hit in all five games during the ACC pod weekend and has had at least one in eight of Duke's nine games this season. Defensively, Davis turned two double plays at shortstop over the weekend.Â

Following her strong performance, Davis is tied for the most hits in the ACC (14), runs scored (9) and total bases (25) while leading the conference in triples (3). Additionally, she has the second highest batting average in the ACC at .519.Â

Duke softball will be on the road this weekend in Columbia, S.C. to compete in the Gamecock Invitational. The Blue Devils will play two games against Seton Hall and play one versus Longwood and No. 19 South Carolina.Â
