DURHAM – The Duke volleyball program is set to welcome Miami (13-2, 4-1 ACC) and Florida State (10-4, 3-2 ACC) for a pair of ACC matches this weekend at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Blue Devils will face the Hurricanes Friday at 6:30 p.m., before a 1 p.m., match against the Seminoles. Both matches will be broadcast on ACCNX with
Ryan Craig and Christina Lingley on the call Friday before Chris Edwards and Lingley team up for Sunday's game. It will also be Dig Pink Weekend and fans are encouraged to wear pink.
LAST TIME OUT
Duke dropped a 3-0 decision on the road at No. 2 Pitt Friday before the Blue Devils swept Virginia (3-0) in Charlottesville Sunday. Senior outside hitter

Georgia Stavrinides added eight kills and five blocks in the victory over Virginia.
A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SERIES
MIAMI: Duke and Miami will meet for the 29th time in program history Friday as the Blue Devils own a 17-11 lead in the all-time series. In its last meeting in 2021, Duke dropped a five-set decision (3-2) in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The Blue Devils are 9-6 at home against the Hurricanes.
FLORIDA STATE: The Blue Devils hold a 37-23 lead in the series against the Seminoles, but have lost eight straight. In the spring of 2021, the Seminoles swept the Blue Devils twice in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke is 18-11 at home against Florida State.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
MIAMI: Miami (13-2, 4-1 ACC) is coming off a Wednesday night victory over Florida State and is led by Angela Grieve (170 kills), Janice Leao (135 kills) and Peyman Yardimici (124 kills). Setter Savannah Vach has continued to dominate with 508 assists (10.6 assists/game) to rank third in the ACC. She recorded her first career triple-double with 17 kills, 28 assists and 11 digs against UCF. The Hurricanes come into Friday tabbed third in the nation in blocks with 145.0 and are led by Janice Leao (85.0). As a team, the Hurricanes are hitting .239 percent.
FLORIDA STATE: The Seminoles (10-4, 3-2 ACC) dropped a four-set match to Miami Wednesday night in Coral Gables. Offensively, Florida State features four with 100+ kills in Emma Clothier (127), Morgan Chacon (126), Khori Louis (124) and Audrey Koenig (120) as the team is hitting .234 percent. Setter Lily Tessier owns 485 assists to rank seventh in the ACC while the Seminoles lead the conference in digs with 823. At the net, Louis leads the way with 57 total blocks.
COLE RANKS AMONG THE BEST

Mackenzie Cole is ranked 29th on the NCAA active career leaders list with 1,464 career digs to date. She needs 166 to move into the top 20. She is also currently tabbed eighth on the Duke all-time charts.
Cole has been one of Duke's top defensive specialists during her time in Durham and has 19 games with 20+ digs. Her career-high of 29 came against North Carolina on November 17, 2018. She also owns 106 service aces, becoming the 18th player in Duke history to reach the milestone. This season, she owns 227 digs for a 4.4 digs/set average to lead the ACC and helps the team to rank sixth.
ON THE FAST TRACK
With an overall record of 11-4 (2-2 ACC), Duke is off to its best start since the 2014 season, when the Blue Devils finished third in the ACC with a 22-8 (14-4 ACC) record. Nagel's squad also reached the NCAA Tournament that year.
MARATHON MATCHES
The Blue Devils started the 2021 slate with back-to-back five-set matches and since then, Duke has only played in two that went beyond three: Howard, 4 sets (9/3) and Michigan, 5 sets (9/10). In 2020-21, Duke played in seven five-set matches and went 1-6.
SPARK OFF THE BENCH

Moorea Wood has proven to be a big spark off the bench for the Blue Devils in the last week. Against No. 2 Pitt, Wood came in to hit .500 percent with seven kills and just two errors to go along with two blocks. In the win over Virginia, Wood added six kills to hit .444 and one block. This season, she's hitting .297 percent.
