GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time this season, a Duke women's basketball standout has received ACC Player of the Week accolades as senior
Leaonna Odom earned the honor Tuesday as announced by the league office.
Odom helped lead Duke to victories at Syracuse and at home against Georgia Tech this past week as the Blue Devils have won four out of the last five contests.
A native of Lompoc, Calif., Odom averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals on the week. She hit 76.0 percent of her field goals in the two contests and currently ranks third in the ACC with a 56.7 field goal percentage in league games.
At Syracuse, Odom collected 23 points and 10 rebounds, while hitting 11-of-14 field goals in 35 minutes. She added three assists and two steals. She now owns three double-doubles on the season and 13 over her career.
Odom drained 8-of-11 field goals to close the week at home against Georgia Tech and collected 16 points. She chipped in six rebounds, three steals and two assists in 38 minutes.
In the ACC overall stats, Odom currently ranks 13th in scoring (14.1), fourth in field goal percentage (54.8) and sixth in steals (2.1).

Haley Gorecki was also selected ACC Player of the Week. Duke joins Florida State as the only two teams to boast two different student-athletes earning ACC Player of the Week in 2019-20.
Duke will be off Thursday, before hosting nationally ranked NC State Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m.
