BACK ON TRACK
After dropping two straight, Duke is back to its winning ways after defeating 20th-ranked Wake Forest and 22nd-ranked Old Dominion last weekend at home.
COMMANDER CROUSE
Sophomore Leah Crouse has been dominant in her last three games, notching eight points, four goals and two game-winners against Princeton, Wake Forest and Old Dominion. The Virginia Beach, Va., native has been crucial down the stretch for Duke, scoring the first - and eventual game-winning goal against Wake Forest - and the lone goal against Old Dominion.
She is tied for fifth in the ACC in points (20) and is tied for second in game-winning goals with four on the year. Crouse registered her first multiple-goal game of her career against Princeton on Oct. 6.
NO GOALS ALLOWED
Duke shut out Wake Forest and Old Dominion last weekend, marking it the first time Duke blanked back-to-back opponents since 2018, when doing so against Appalachian State (Sept. 30) and Virginia (Oct. 5). The Blue Devils held the opposition to a combined seven shots last weekend, while also allowing just two penalty corners.
FACING THE BEST OF THE BEST
Of the 13 games played this season, Duke has faced 11 nationally ranked opponents, including seven top-15 teams. With its road contest at 7th-ranked Virginia, Duke will see its seventh consecutive ranked team.
ALL AROUND EFFORT
Duke's offense has seen multiple scorers throughout the season, as 10 Blue Devils have found the back of the cage in 2019. The Blue Devils have spread the wealth among each other, as eight different players have tallied an assist. Freshman Hannah Miller leads the team in goals with nine, while Crouse is the team leader in assists with four.

Steele was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week and the NFHCA Division I National Co-Defensive Player of the Week. The weekly conference honor was the sixth of Steele's career, while she took home NFHCA Division I National Player of the Week laurels for the third time.
