Chrest dominated offensively, adding seven draw controls and an assist and bringing her team-leading season goal total to 27. Fellow Tewaaraton candidate, junior goalie Megan Huether, was stunning in goal, stopping 10 of the Hoyas' shots, including six in the first half.
Coco Stanwick led the scoring effort for the Hoyas, finishing the day with four goals and an assist. Georgetown goalkeeper Sarah Robinson made six saves, five of them coming in the first half.

Laschinger converted on a pass from Chrest at 27:10 to begin the run and Leigh Jester put in two straight to go up 3-0 less than 10:00 into the game. Laschinger and Chrest each added another before Georgetown's Stanwick threw in two to bring the score to 5-2 with 4:33 to play in the first half.
Duke's Kristen Waagbo rebounded quickly off the ensuing draw control, scoring on an unassisted shot to increase the lead to four. Hollis Pica found the back of the net with 1:00 left in the opening half to send the two teams into halftime with a 6-3 mark.
Michelle Menser came out strong for the Blue Devils in the second stanza, finishing off a pass from Laura Anderson just 35 seconds into the half. The Hoyas battled back, scoring four straight goals to tie the game at 7-7 with 11:18 remaining in the game. Stanwick and Catherine Elbe each scored two goals in that 4-0 run.
After 4:44 of scoreless action for both teams, the Blue Devils went on a 3-0 spree to close out the game. Laschinger converted a pass from Waagbo to break the tie and put the Blue Devils up 8-7 with 6:34 to play. Chrest cemented the win with two unassisted tallies, the last coming at the 2:51 mark.
