Upcoming Event: Women's Soccer versus #25 Clemson on October 30, 2025 at 7 p.m.

Kim Graham begins her second season as an assistant coach of the Blue Devils track and field team. In just one year with the Blue Devils, Graham has done an outstanding job with the Duke sprinters. On the women’s side Graham’s athletes have set three new school records indoors and five outdoors. The Duke men have made changes to the all-time top five sprint lists in two different events. Perhaps even more importantly, under Graham the sprint group has been molded into a cohesive unit that has started to think big in terms of their sprinting goals. Graham comes to Duke from the University of Virginia where she was an assistant coach from 1997 until 2001. She was responsible for sprints, hurdles, relays and jumps. While at UVA, Graham coached five All-Americas, three ACC Champions and seven All-ACC performers. Graham, who was a member of the Olympic Champion 4x400-meter relay team at the 1996 games in Atlanta, also won gold at the 1995 Outdoor World Championships and silver at the 1995 Indoor World Championships, both times as a member of the 4x400 relay team. Individually, Graham was the U.S. Champion in the 400-meters in 1998, a semifinalist in the 400 at the 1996 Olympics and a semifinalist in the 400 at the 1995 Outdoor World Championships. A three-year captain of the women’s track and field team at Clemson University, Graham was a six-time All America and a National Strength and Conditioning All-America in 1993. In her four years at Clemson, Graham won 15 ACC titles and was named MVP of the championships four times. She was inducted into the Clemson University Hall of Fame in 1999. Graham graduated from Clemson with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology in 1993. She is engaged to be married in March 2003 and resides in Durham.
