Donny Asper begins his second season as a volunteer assistant at Duke. The Biglersville, Pa. native was a two-time National Qualifier and two-time Academic All-America selection at Ursinus College.

During his wrestling days, Asper was team captain for three years, a three-time conference champion for the Bears and compiled a 109-15 record.

Asper was a U.S. representative to the Russian World Cup Wrestling team in 1997 and was invited to wrestle on the U.S. University National Team in 1998.
