Recent Duke 2024 Duke volleyball graduate Maddie Bryant joins the volleyball staff as an assistant coach in July of 2024.Â
Bryant spent the last two seasons as a Duke volleyball student-athlete and was Duke's starting libero in the fall of 2023. She suffered a season-ending injury in 2022, just six matches into the season.Â
As a captain in 2023, she played in every set (107) and led the team with 387 total digs for 3.62 digs per set. She also added 103 assists and 27 serving aces as a key member to Duke's offense and defense. The Anderson, S.C., native tallied 20-or-more digs four times and saw double-digit digs in all but seven games as a graduate student.Â
Prior to her arrival in Durham, she spent three seasons at Tennessee.Â
