Courtney Dipert enters her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Duke after serving as an assistant coach at Florida State last year.
In addition to working on the Seminole staff, Dipert worked as the coordinator and director of the Cecile Reynaud Volleyball Camp last summer and was a volunteer assistant coach at FSU in 2000.
Dipert also coached club volleyball in Tallahassee, serving as either the head coach or an assistant for the Big Bend Juniors Volleyball Club from 1998-2000. She has worked numerous camps in both Florida and Illinois at the high school and collegiate level.
A four-year letterwinner at Florida State, Dipert served as a team captain her senior year in 1999. She led the Seminoles in service aces and garnered the Golden ‘Nole Award, given to the team’s Most Valuable Player.
During her career, Dipert helped lead the Seminoles to two NCAA Tournament appearances and the 1998 Atlantic Coast Conference championship.
A Dean’s List student, Dipert also excelled off the court. She was named to the ACC Honor Roll from 1998-2000.
Dipert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Florida State in 2000 and received a master’s degree in Sport Administration from FSU in 2001.
