Upcoming Event: Men's Soccer versus Louisville on September 26, 2025 at 7 p.m.

The 2002 campaign marks the first season for Ken Pollard as top assistant with the Duke men’s soccer program. Pollard has been an assistant coach at NCAA Division II power Southern Connecticut State for the past five seasons.
During his coaching tenure at Southern Connecticut State (1997-2001), Pollard helped the Owls to a pair of NCAA Division II National Championships. He also served as an assistant coach for the New York/New Jersey Metrostars of the MLS during the 2000 season.
Pollard has also been a member of the USSF regional coaching staff and was a featured clinician at the 2001 NSCAA coaching convention. In addition, he was a director at the world renowned Cooper Fitness Center in Dallas, Texas from 1994-97.
As a player, Pollard was a member of two national championship teams at Southern Connecticut State and played for the under-18 Welsh national team.
Pollard graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1994 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Human Performance. He earned his master’s degree in Exercise Science from the same institution in 2001. He also holds a USSF “A” coaching license.
He and his wife Kathleen reside in Durham, N.C.
