Naim Muhammad joined the Duke Athletics Department in August 2018 and currently serves as the Iron Dukes Coordinator for Major Gifts. Prior to this role Muhammad worked in the Iron Dukes office as an Assistant. Before joining the Duke staff, Muhammad worked at Shepherd University in student affairs as the Graduate Assistant for the Dean of Students, and with the athletic department as the Graduate Assistant for Men’s Basketball. In addition, Muhammad also spent time serving as the Intern for the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance at Shepherd University. Muhammad also served as a Site Manager for PGC Basketball during their summer camps and clinics.

A native of White Plains, M.D., Muhammad graduated from Shepherd University in 2017 with a degree in Mass Communication. While at Shepherd, he was a 4-year varsity letter winner for the Men’s Basketball team, earning All-Conference recognition during his senior campaign.

Muhammad currently resides in Durham, N.C.
