2022: Served as the program's time management liaison ... appeared in 10 games ... finished 3-for-10 on the season with a home run, three runs scored and two RBIs ... recorded an RBI single against Bucknell (3/4) ... hit his first career home run in the series finale against Bucknell (3/6).

2021: Appeared in 11 games with three starts on the season ... earned three walks in 17 plate appearances ... started both games of the double-header at Coastal Carolina (2/21), scoring a run in each.

2020: Saw action in 10 games on the season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic, making seven starts at second base … recorded two walks in the second game of the series with Army (2/15), adding one RBI and one run scored … tallied his first career hit in the series opener with Cornell (2/21), finishing 1-for-4 with one RBI … went 1-for-3 in the second game of the series with the Big Red (2/22), adding one walk … came off the bench as a pinch runner in the second game of the CambriaCollegeClassic against Minnesota (2/29), recording one run scored.

Prior to Duke: The second-rated shortstop in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 30 overall prospect in the state according to Perfect Game USA … attended Somerset Area High School in Somerset, Pa … batted .306, slugged .453 and posted a .390 on-base percentage on his way to helping lead the Golden Eagles to a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Championship his junior campaign … enjoyed great success on the mound as a sophomore, notching a 4-2 record, while sporting a 1.97 ERA across eight appearances and six starts, including two complete games … was regarded as a top 500 prospect by Perfect Game, and earned Underclass All-American High Honorable Mention honors in both 2017 and 2018 … a scholar-athlete who was a member of the National Honor Society, and received the Student-Athlete Award at SAHS his sophomore year … was a honor student for all four years of his high school career, and served as a member of both the student council and the Future Business Leaders of America.

Personal: Born Grant Barnhart Norris on December 31, 2000 … son of Frank and Carolyn Norris … mother played volleyball at West Virginia from 1981-85, while his father played collegiate baseball at Lock Haven University from 1974-77.
