DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field puts a bow on the 2026 regular season this weekend when the Blue Devils host their second home meet of the year – the Duke Twilight – Sunday, May 3 at Morris Williams Stadium.
Action gets underway at 9:30 a.m. with the women's hammer throw, while the women's 4x100-meter relay kicks off track events at 2:30 p.m.

WHAT TO KNOW:
- Duke's women currently rank 18th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week 5 poll. The Blue Devils debuted at No. 3 in the first poll of the outdoor season (Mar. 31), marking the highest in-season ranking in program lore.
- In the EventSquad rankings, the Blue Devil women are currently second in the 3000-meter steeplechase, third in the 800 meters, sixth in the 400 meters, eighth in the 5000 meters and 10th in the 10,000 meters. On the men's side, Duke checks in at 10th in the javelin.
- Duke features seven student-athletes currently ranked in the top 25 in their respective events: Braelyn Baker ( 6th – 400mH; 7th – 400m; 21st – 200m), Michael Bennett (15th – decathlon), Philip Kastner (20th – decathlon), Andres Langston (21st – 400mH), Matthew Prebola (22nd – javelin), Lauren Tolbert (1st – 800m; 14th – 400m) and Gemma Tutton (12th – pole vault).
- Both Blue Devil women's relays also rank in the top 25, with the 4x400m ranked 16th and the 4x100m 22nd.
LAST TIME OUT:
- Duke track and field received strong performances from its distance unit during the split weekend, as the Blue Devils rewrote the program record book with top-five marks in the men's and women's 5000 and the women's 3000 SC.
- Jette Beermann and Audrey DaDamio posted solid races in the women's 5000 and carved out their respective spots on the Duke charts. Beermann turned in her fastest race as a Blue Devil and crossed the finish line in 15:46.59 to slot herself No. 2 all-time, while DaDamio delivered a huge personal best of 15:47.18 – 12 seconds faster than her previous best – to move into third all-time in program lore.
- On the men's side, Alden Keller and Sean Morello also notched top-five program marks via major personal bests. Morello slashed over 12 seconds off his previous best en route to clocking 13:46.78 – No. 2 on the Duke charts. Keller lowered his 5000 time by nearly 10 seconds, crossing the line in 13:47.63 to cement himself third in Blue Devil history.
- Representing the Blue Devils at the Charlotte Invitational, Ebba Cronholm headlined the Duke efforts as she posted the fifth-fastest time in program history, 10:09.79, to win the 3000 SC.
