DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field will feature a split group as the team embarks on a tri-meet weekend. The Blue Devils will compete at the Mt. SAC Relays (Walnut, California) from Apr. 15-18, the Wake Forest Invitational (Winston-Salem) Apr. 16-17 and the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational (Gainesville, Florida) Apr. 17-18.

- Sophomore Braelyn Baker was dubbed the ACC Women's Outdoor Track Performer of the Week for the second time in three weeks after turning in an outstanding showing featuring a trio of first-place finishes at the Duke Invitational this past weekend. Baker The Carnation, Washington, standout notched a pair of personal bests and posted individual wins in the women's 100-meter and 200-meter events, with the third victory coming as a member of the women's 4x100m relay. - Duke's women currently rank 16th in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Week 3 poll, jumping five spots from last week's No. 21 ranking. The Blue Devils debuted at No. 3 in the first poll of the outdoor season (Mar. 31), marking the highest in-season ranking in program lore.
- In the EventSquad rankings, the Blue Devil women are currently fourth in the 400 meters, 800 meters and 10,000 meters, and ninth in the 100 meters and 5000 meters.
- Duke features seven student-athletes currently ranked in the top 25 in their respective events: Braelyn Baker (3rd – 400m; 6th – 400mH; 8th – 200m), Maya Collins (18th – 100m), Andres Langston (17th – 400mH), Matthew Prebola (17th – javelin), Christian Toro (24th – hammer throw), Lauren Tolbert (7th – 400m; 9th – 800m) and Gemma Tutton (5th – pole vault).
LAST TIME OUT:
- Duke track and field turned in an impressive all-around showing at the Duke Invitational, with the Blue Devil performances headlined by seven event wins, 18 podium finishes and a handful of top-five program marks.
- The Blue Devil women spearheaded the charge with all seven victories, placing first in the 100 meters (Braelyn Baker), 200 meters (Baker), 800 meters (Lauren Tolbert), 4x100m (Taylor Aska, Mia Edim, Maya Collins, Baker) and 4x400m (Amber Wimbish, Edim, Arabella Wilson, Tolbert) relays, long jump (Gianna Locci) and pole vault (Gemma Tutton).

UP NEXT:
The Blue Devils head to the Queen City to take part in the Charlotte Invitational. The meet will take place Apr. 24-25 at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center.
