The Blue Devils (5-3, 2-2) jumped seven spots in the Week 5 IWLCA poll following a 1-1 week that featured a dominant 17-6 victory over then-No. 11 Boston College and a close call at No. 2 Stanford (L, 11-10).
Duke and Louisville are set to square off for the 14th time Sunday, with the Blue Devils holding an 11-2 advantage in the all-time series -- including a 5-0 mark in Durham.
Junior Ellie White has collected 184 ground balls during her time as a Blue Devil -- tied for fifth all-time on the Duke charts. She needs just one draw control to take over sole possession of No. 5 all-time at Duke and just 43 to move into the top four in program lore.
Doran sits second in the ACC and seventh in the NCAA in shot percentage (.647), while Whitaker's 19 tallies on the year are tied for eighth among freshmen nationally .

Duke is ranked in multiple top-25 polls. The Blue Devils climbed seven spots in the Week 5 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) poll and currently check in at No. 15 nationally.
Duke is also slotted No. 13 by Inside Lacrosse and 19th by USA Lacrosse Magazine.
DUKE VERSUS LOUISVILLE:

In last season's meeting on April. 12, 2025, Duke posted a 17-7 victory over the Cardinals in Kentucky.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS:
Louisville enters the weekend with a 4-4 overall record and a 1-3 ledger in ACC games. The Cardinals are winners of their last two, earning victories over Florida State (15-5) and Cincinnati (11-10 OT).
Offensively, Louisville features five players with double-digit goals and seven with 10-plus points, led by Ella Berg (19g, 5a, 24pts), Reese Whiteman (18g, 5a, 23pts) and Charlotte Jackson (14g, 7a, 21pts).
Cate Kangas and Avery Johnston lead the defensive efforts with 14 and 10 caused turnovers, respectively. Kangas also owns a team-high 20 ground balls, with Haley Richards close behind with 16.
Richards has started all eight games in net for the Cardinals. She owns 99 saves on the year, sporting an 11.52 GAA and a .521 save percentage.
