High School: Hope Schoudel comes to Duke from Darien, Conn., where she attended Darien High School... As a goalie, she has helped lead her team to multiple state championships and most recently as a junior in high school, was named an All-American, All-County and All-State... She also lettered in ski racing... Her club team was ranked fourth nationally as she was a first team all-American selection and was named to the WPLL All-Pro Futures team.

Personal: Born May 23, 2006 … Daughter of Caroline and Jon Schoudel … Has four siblings: Carly, Jay, Maeve and Tyler … Sister Carly played lacrosse at Roanoke College.
