DURHAM, N.C. - After playing the last three matches on the road, No. 19 Duke men's soccer hosts its ACC home opener, welcoming Syracuse to Koskinen Stadium on Friday, Sept. 19. The Blue Devils (2-0-3, 0-0-1 ACC) and Orange (2-3-2, 0-1-0 ACC) are slated to kickoff at 7 p.m., with the game streamed live on ACC Network Extra.Â
Friday night serves as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Night at Koskinen Stadium, a night of remembrance in honor of Malia Jusczyk, who passed away at the age of 14 in June of 2023 after battling relapsed neuroblastoma. The two teams will wear t-shirts designed by Malia's father, Glen, who was teammates with Duke head coach
John Kerr (Worcester Wildfire, 1997).

here. New this season, for walk-up ticket purchases at either the ticket windows of the Scott Family Athletics Performance Center or Koskinen Stadium ticket booths there will be a $5.00 print fee added to each order. Moving forward, the ticket office will be cashless when accepting payment for tickets, including on gameday. The ticket office accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa. FIRST TOUCH
- Duke returns from a three-week road trip with its ACC home opener, hosting Syracuse after logging three draws at Furman, Georgetown and California.Â

CONFERENCE PLAY COMMENCES
- In ACC home openers under head coach John Kerr, Duke is 8-4-5.
- Duke was voted to finish fourth in the ACC this season, garnering 160 total votes and two first-place votes, in the preseason coaches poll.
ALL-ACC TALENT RETURNS
- The Blue Devils return key pieces from last season's squad, including four All-ACC selections.
- Ulfur Bjornsson was selected as a First Team All-ACC honoree, while Kamran Acito and Kenan Hot earned Third Team recognition. Rising sophomore Jamie Kabuusu was Duke's lone honoree on the Freshman Team.Â
