CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The 2025 ACC Men's Lacrosse Championship bracket is set with Blue Devils earning the No. 3 seed following their overtime win at Virginia Saturday.
Duke will face No. 2 seed North Carolina May 2 at American Legion Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. Faceoff is set for 8 p.m., on ACC Network. The Blue Devils earned the No. 3 seed with a 2-2 record in conference action and won the head-to-head tiebreak with Syracuse.
The semifinals will be held May 2, with the top-seeded Fighting Irish (8-3, 3-1 ACC) starting the tournament against No. 4 seed Syracuse (9-5, 2-2) at 5 p.m. ET. Syracuse won the regular-season meeting, 14-9, on April 5 in Syracuse, New York.
Duke is 23-24 all-time in the ACC Tournament and has won eight ACC titles with the last coming in 2012. The Blue Devils are 2-6 as the No. 3 seed and 8-5 against North Carolina in the ACC postseason event. Duke and UNC have not played in the ACC Championship event since the Tar Heels clipped Duke 18-17 in 2013.
The Blue Devils head into the ACC Championship with an 11-4 record.
Eric Malever headlines the offense with 58 points (30g, 28a) while
Max Sloat and
Andrew McAdorey have 36 points apiece. The dynamic duo of
Charlie Johnson and
Aidan Maguire anchor the defense with 26 and 24 caused turnovers respectively. In goal,
Patrick Jameison has come on strong down the stretch and sports a 9.52 goals against average and a .529 save percentage.
