DURHAM, N.C. – Duke was back in action Thursday with its first spring practice session. The Blue Devils conducted a two-hour session in helmets at the Brooks Practice Facility.
Duke is coming off a nine-win season for just the eighth time in program history and return 16 starters and 39 lettermen from last year's squad that made the program's first appearance in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
At the conclusion of practice, Duke head coach Manny Diaz spoke with the media for the first time this spring.
Duke will return to the practice field for its second spring workout Saturday.
