DURHAM, N.C. —The NCAA released the seedings and brackets for the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championship Wednesday evening with Duke redshirt sophomore heavyweight
Connor Barket receiving the No. 27 seed and will open action Thursday, March 20 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

Barket, a product of West Lafayette, Ind., will face sixth-seeded Joshua Heindselman of Michigan, who has totaled a 22-4 ledger on the season. The match will take place in the morning. The Barket/Heindselman winner advances to face the winner of the 11th-seeded Jimmy Mullen against 22nd-seeded Brady Colbert of Army on Thursday afternoon.Â

With a 24-10 record on the year, Barket will make his first NCAA Championship appearance. His 24 wins ranks as the fifth-most by a heavyweight in Duke history for a single season.Â
