NEED TO KNOW
- The eighth-ranked Duke women's soccer team (4-1-0) is set to conclude a four-match homestand Thursday, Sept. 12 as the Blue Devils host Missouri (2-3-1) at 7 p.m., inside Koskinen Stadium.Â
- Thursday's contest will be aired live on ACC Network Extra with Dean Linke (PXP) and Matt Stradley (Analyst) on the call.
- The Blue Devils close non-conference action this week, before heading to Clemson to open ACC play on Sept. 19 on ACC Network. Duke has been looking to add a non-conference match after the Tennessee match was canceled.
- On the season, Duke has scored 13 goals by nine different players. Maggie Graham, Devin Lynch, Cameron Roller and Farrah Walters are the one Blue Devils to score multiple goals.
- Duke welcomed eight newcomers to the 2024 roster as head coach Robbie Church is in his 24th season in Durham. Church announced on July 22, 2024 he will be retiring at the end of the season and Duke will be promoting associate head coach Kieran Hall to head coach in 2025. Current assistant coach Carla Overbeck will move to associate head coach in 2025 as well.Â

STORYLINES/OTHER BLUE DEVIL NOTES
- Duke features a 395:48 shutout streak since allowing its lone goal of the season at Ohio State in the season opener. It marks the ninth-longest scoreless streak in program history.
- The Blue Devils are averaging 22.0 shots a match and outshooting opponents by a 110-26 margin.
- Duke has scored 13 goals the last four matches, while the Blue Devils scored a total of 15 goals a season ago.
- Freshman Mary Long missed the Nebraska match as she was training with the U.S. U-17 Women's National Team. She returned to Duke practice on Saturday, Aug. 24.
- Duke's 4-0 win against UNCW was the 250th win in program history at home.
- The last time the Blue Devils dropped a season opener was in 2017. Duke went on to win 19 straight matches after the loss and made an appearance in the NCAA College Cup.
- Duke was shutout in the season opener for the first time since 2014, which was also a loss to Ohio State (1-0).
- The Blue Devils return 10 starters and 17 letterwinners from the previous season. Of the 15 goals scored in 2023, the Blue Devils return players that scored 13 of those led by Kat Rader (7), Carina Lageyre (2) and Katie Groff (2).
- Duke brought in four transfers for the 2024 campaign that feature excellent resumes. Hannah Bebar, Farrah Walters, Ella Hase and Mia Oliaro have combined to play in 141 matches with 132 starts, scored 48 goals, added 42 assists and notched 138 points over their careers.
- The Blue Devils were ranked No. 24 nationally in the United Soccer Coaches poll, which marked the ninth time out of the last 10 years Duke has been preseason ranked.
- The last time Duke head coach Robbie Church dealt with a losing season was in 2014 and the next year he led the Blue Devils to the 2015 NCAA College Cup.
- Blue Devil head coach Robbie Church is three wins away from reaching 300 victories at Duke.
- Duke will take its eight natives of California back to their home state in October for a week-long road trip to play Stanford (Oct. 10) and California (Oct. 13).Â

- Duke currently holds a 3-0-0 ledger against Missouri, with the most recent match taking place in 2010 in Chapel Hill, N.C.

- Missouri head coach Stefanie Golan (formerly Stefanie Kraay), who is a 2001 Blue Devil graduate, returns to Duke Thursday on the other sidelines.Â
- Golan appeared in 56 matches, while starting 37 at Duke.
- She posted two goals, both game-winners, from the defensive side.
- Golan was a senior on Robbie Church's first team at Duke in 2001.Â

ROLLER EARNS HONORS
- Coming off helping the Duke to a pair of victories last week, including two clean sheets, sophomore center back Cameron Roller was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday. She also earned TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week as well.
- Roller opened the week by helping lead the Blue Devils to one of the biggest home victories in school history as Duke defeated second-ranked North Carolina, 1-0, for the first win at home against the Tar Heels. Roller played the entire 90 minutes, assisted on the game-winning tally and helped lead Duke to its third-straight shutout. Roller and the Duke defense limited North Carolina to season lows of shots (6) and corner kicks (0).Â
- On Sunday versus ETSU, Roller notched her second goal of the season, while helping the Blue Devils collect another shutout.Â
- Overall on the week, Roller notched one goal and one assist for three points in a team-high 154 minutes. She helped the Duke defense to 180 minutes of shutout soccer. In two matches, Roller and the Duke defense allowed only seven shots.

BACK IN THE RANKINGS
- Over As a team, the Blue Devils jumped back into the United Soccer Coaches poll at No. 8 this week, after victories over No. 2 North Carolina and ETSU.Â
- It marks the ninth straight year the Blue Devils have been ranked in the top 10 nationally at some point during the season.Â
- Head coach Robbie Church has now guided Duke to top 10 rankings in 16 of his 24 seasons with the Blue Devils.

STRONG DEFENSE
- Over five matches, Duke has allowed only one goal against Ohio State in the season opener. The Blue Devils have posted three straight shutouts since then and features a 395:48 scoreless streak.Â
- Duke is one of only three ACC schools -- Florida State, Virginia -- to only allow one goal this season.
- The Blue Devils have allowed only 17 shots the last four matches for an average of 4.3 per game.Â
