Murray, Albright Set to Compete in the Appalachian League All-Star Game

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke sophomore infielder Noah Murray and junior outfielder Tyler Albright were named to the Appalachian League All-Star Game after a strong summer with the Burlington Sock Puppets.
The rosters feature 44 of the league's top players from the East and West Divisions, as nominated and voted on by the league's managers. The All-Star Game, hosted by the Johnson City Doughboys and presented by Visit Johnson City, will be held at TVA Credit Union Ballpark in Johnson City, Tennessee, on July 23 at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on MLB.com and MLB.TV.
Murray, an infielder from Crozet, Virginia, took the Appy League by storm this summer, appearing in 33 games for the Sock Puppets. He has recorded 113 at-bats, leading the team in runs scored (27), hits (33), doubles (10), home runs (5), and walks (29). Murray has added 12 stolen bases this offseason and leads the team in slugging percentage (.513).
Albright, an outfielder from Greensboro, has appeared in 30 games for the Sock Puppets this summer. He posts a .304 average at the plate, second on the team, scoring 22 runs and collecting 28 hits. He has driven in 17 RBI, walked 21 times, and is second on the team in on-base percentage at .451.
