QUOTES
- "It's tough when you find out just minutes before the ballgame that your starting ace and Friday night guy can't go. That being said, I thought the guys we put out there tonight were guys that can win the ballgame. We scored eight runs on a Friday night and feel like you are in a position to win. The bottom line is that we gave them way too many free bases with the walks and stolen bases. We have to do a better job of finding the zone tomorrow and forcing them to swing the bat." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on Friday.
UP NEXT
- Duke and Georgia Tech continue the three-game set on Saturday afternoon from Russ Chandler Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
