QUOTES
- "I think we spotted them a few runs early, and our bullpen did a great job of throwing up a bunch of zeros in the back half of the game. They had one hit after the third inning, and we just left a small village on the bases. We had the bases loaded twice and left two on another time. We hit three balls to the wall with the bases loaded. Zac Morris' ball was crushed, but right at the guy, so that is the sport sometimes." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on the ballgame tonight.
UP NEXT
- Duke steps back into ACC play this weekend, traveling to Pittsburgh, Pa., for a weekend series against Pitt. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 6 p.m.
