QUOTES
- "I was just really proud of our competitive fight today. We were really tough down the stretch and kept competing. To get down 7-1 and come back and work our way back into that game and then to give up three in the top of the 11th and respond. I told our team after the game; special seasons require special moments like this and today we pulled off the improbable." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts on the series sweep.
- "We talk about it all the time; we play in a series of one pitch battles. We can't get into the process of making one moment bigger than the other. When you preach that and live it every day, you know when you get into that moment you can perform in the moment. It is where process and routine allow you to be in the moment and continue to develop that trait." – On situational hitting throughout the entire season.
UP NEXT
- Duke closes out a four-game homestand welcoming in William & Mary for a midweek contest. First pitch on Tuesday is scheduled for 6 p.m.
