DURHAM – No. 12 Duke closes out a 10-game homestand this week at Jack Coombs Field hosting Appalachian State and Georgetown for two midweek contests.
Both games are scheduled for 4 p.m. and admission is free. Parking will be located in the Science Drive Garage.

- The Blue Devils continue to pounce on opponents like they did throughout the season in 2023. Duke has recorded 58 of its 101 runs so far this season from the fourth to eighth innings. That number accounts for 57.4% of the Blue Devils' run production.
- Junior left-hander Jonathan Santucci has been nearly untouchable this season since returning from injury in 2023. The Leominster, Mass., native improved to 3-0 on the season, working 17 innings and striking out 31 batters. In his most recent outing, Santucci tossed a career-best six innings and punched out 14 batters, allowing one hit. On the season, the lefty boasts a 0.00 ERA and opponents are hitting .169 off him. Santucci became the first Duke player since Joey Loperfido to earn an ACC Player of the Week honor on Monday.
- Duke is currently tied for second in the country and first in the ACC in home runs hit this season, trailing Georgia (30) and tied with Notre Dame (29). The Blue Devils added six more home runs against Akron at Jack Coombs Field, pushing their season total to 29.
- Graduate transfer Ben Miller has been scorching hot to start the 2024 campaign, collecting hits in the first 11 games of the season. Miller has posted a .465 average at the plate, scoring 12 runs, 20 hits, six doubles, five home runs and 11 RBI. The Durham, N.C., native posts a .953 slugging percentage and .531 on base percentage heading into the fourth weekend of play.
- Duke's starting pitching has been lights out to this point in the season, bringing in a 1.45 ERA with a perfect 8-0 record in games they factored into the decision. They have completed three shutouts and worked 43.1 innings on the mound, allowing 10 earned runs to pass. Opponents are batting .200 off the Blue Devils starters and have punched out 67 times.
