DURHAM – Duke women's lacrosse welcomes East Carolina for a non-conference matchup Tuesday. First draw is set for 5 p.m., on ACCNX.
Scouting the Pirates
- The Pirates come into Tuesday's contest 3-6 overall as they recently dropped a 13-8 decision to Temple over the weekend.
- East Carolina is led by Caroline Kimel with 37 points from 18 goals and 19 assists. She also owns 12 ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control. Erin Gulden owns 24 points (16g, 8a) while midfielder Ellie Bromley has filled up the stats sheet with 20 draw controls, 18 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.
- Goalie Jaime Behar has gotten the start in six games and owns a .436 save percentage with a 12.75 GAA.
Series History
- Duke and East Carolina meet for the seventh time in program history as the Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 6-0.
- The two have met every year since 2018.

- Head coach Kerstin Kimel's daughter, Caroline, is a graduate student on East Carolina's team. The two squads have met every year since Caroline's freshman year in 2020.
- This season, she leads the team as an attacker with 37 points (18g, 19a) and also owns 12 ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control.
