DURHAM – No. 9 Duke (16-7, 3-5 ACC) dropped its second consecutive league series on Saturday, as NC State scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off the Blue Devils at Doak Field at Dail Park, 9-8.
Duke led from the start, scoring in the first, second, fourth, sixth and eighth innings on Saturday.

AJ Gracia both left the yard with home runs, while three Blue Devils collected multiple hits against the Wolfpack.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- AJ Gracia opened the scoring in the top of the first, singling to right field to score Zac Morris from second, 1-0.
- Wallace Clark hit a solo home run to right field to lead off the top of the second, 2-0.
- In the top of the fourth, Morris doubled to left center to score Devin Obee and Chase Krewson, 4-0.
- NC State cut into the Duke lead with a two-run home run, 4-2.
- Logan Bravo singled in the top of the sixth, scoring Morris and Miller, 6-2.
- In the top of the eighth inning, Gracia hit a two-run home run to left field, 8-2.
- The Wolfpack added a run in the bottom of the eighth, 8-3.
- NC State walked off the game, 9-8.
NOTES
- Junior Wallace Clark hit his fourth home run of the season, a solo shot to right field in the top of the second inning.
- Junior Ryan Higgins made his first start of the season on Saturday, working four innings and allowing three hits with four strikeouts.
- Freshman AJ Gracia hit a two-run home run to left center field Saturday, marking his seventh of the season. Gracia is now five home runs away from breaking the freshman home run record at Duke.
