DURHAM – Duke baseball opens the 2024 season as a consensus preseason top-25 program following the USA Today Coaches Poll tabbing the Blue Devils as the No. 14 team in the country.
Duke finished at No. 16 in the coaches' poll final top-25 last season, after a 39-24 record and advancing to the program's third Super Regional appearance. The 2024 schedule features seven teams that are ranked inside the preseason coaches' poll top-25 including, Wake Forest (1), Clemson (9), Virginia (11), East Carolina (12), North Carolina (15), NC State (16) and Coastal Carolina (18).
The Blue Devils begin the 2024 campaign at the Baseball at the Beach tournament hosted by Coastal Carolina. Duke will face off against Indiana on opening day, George Mason on Saturday and No. 19 Coastal Carolina to close out the weekend.
