Duke Opens 2024 Season at No. 14 in NCBWA Preseason Poll

DALLAS, Texas – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) continued its tradition of the NCAA Division I poll for the 27th year, tabbing the Blue Devils as the No. 14 team in the country on Thursday.
Duke finished at No. 15 in the NCBWA final top-25 poll last season, after a 39-24 record and advancing to the program's third Super Regional appearance. The 2024 schedule features seven teams that are ranked inside the preseason NCBWA top-25 including, Wake Forest (1), Virginia (11), Clemson (12), East Carolina (13), North Carolina (16), NC State (18) and Coastal Carolina (19).
The Blue Devils begin the 2024 campaign at the Baseball at the Beach tournament hosted by Coastal Carolina. Duke will face off against Indiana on opening day, George Mason on Saturday and No. 19 Coastal Carolina to close out the weekend.
