Williams Voted to ACC All-Freshman Team

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Duke outside hitter Taylor Williams has been selected to the 2024 ACC Volleyball All-Freshman Team, as voted by the conference head coaches and announced by the league office on Monday.
Williams, a native of Mountain View, California, finished her rookie campaign ranked second on the team with 208 kills, an average of 2.26 kills per set, and 240.5 points. She tied for third on the squad with 20 service aces, while also contributing 23 total blocks and registering a serve-receive percentage of .979 with only two errors in 95 attempts.
The 6-2 Saint Francis High School graduate appeared in 29 of Duke's 31 matches with 18 starts. She posted double-digit kills in 10 matches, including a season-best 16 kills three times. Among her notable performances, Williams achieved a double-double with 16 kills and 11 digs during a 3-1 victory at Wake Forest, and amassed 15 kills, six digs, five blocks and a service ace for a season-high 19.0 points versus California.
Williams wrapped up her freshman campaign tallying double-figure kills in four of her last five matches.
