Reigan Richardson has earned a spot on the John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top-50 Watch List, presented by Principal, as announced by the Los Angeles Athletic Club Thursday afternoon.
Chosen by a preseason poll of national college basketball experts, the list is comprised of 50 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for the most prestigious honors in college basketball, the Wooden Award All-American Team™ and Most Outstanding Player Award. A 2025 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Watch List presented by AXIA Time candidate and Preseason All-ACC selection, Richardson is back for her third season with the Blue Devils following a breakout junior campaign that saw her lead the team in scoring (12.4 ppg), garner All-ACC Second Team accolades and help lead the Blue Devils to the program's 18th Sweet 16.
She chipped in 11 points in Duke's 89-36 win over Radford Monday (Nov. 4), finishing the contest as one of six Blue Devils in double figures.
No. 11 Duke opens a two-game road swing in Lynchburg, Virginia Thursday, Nov. 7 against the Liberty Flames. The action is set to tip off at 7 p.m., live on ESPN+.
