QUOTES
- "I knew going into the week that the wind would present a challenge, so I made it my goal to approach the challenge by being creative and having fun with each shot. That's something I did really well when I had success this summer in Ireland at The Amateur Championship, so I did my best to tap into that" – senior Luke Sample on his second-place finish
- "As a team, we got off to a slow start because we didn't adapt as quickly as could have, but we slowly did adapt as the tournament went on. Ultimately, we're happy we experienced these conditions as a team, because it'll prepare us for whatever comes on our road towards a championship in the spring." – Sample on the team's ability to take on challenging conditions
UP NEXT
- Duke returns to the course following the turn of the calendar, opening its spring slate at the Southwestern Invitational. Played at Sherwood Country Club, the Blue Devils will travel to Thousand Oaks, Calif., from Jan. 27-29, 2025, for the event.
