- No. 10 Duke resumes its ACC slate Friday evening against No. 9 Boston College. The Blue Devils have won six straight and are 5-1 in ACC play. A win Friday could launch the Blue Devils into at least a tie for second place in the conference standings.

Featuring one of the best defenses in the nation, Duke has allowed just five live action goals and leads the nation in goals against average and shutouts. Alaina McVeigh is the top scorer with 20 points from nine goals and two assists. Seven different Blue Devils have at least two goals this season.
- Boston College comes to Durham with a perfect 5-0 mark in ACC play and an 11-3 mark overall. The Eagles are averaging 2.71 goals per game and are led offensively by Peyton Hale with 21 points (8g, 5a). In goal, Charlotte Kramer has played all but 45 minutes and owns a 1.13 goals against average and a .727 save percentage. BC is 3-2 in true road games this season.
