Men's Swimming and Diving Opens 2024-25 Season at Marymount

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men's swimming and diving program officially opens the 2024-25 season on Friday, traveling to Arlington, Virginia, for a dual meet with Marymount. The Blue Devils' original season opener against UNCW was postponed due to weather. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
Last season Jiang was able to produce a top six all-time finish in the 100 Backstroke (47.85), a top-seven performance in the 200 IM (1:46.98), and a top-two performance in the 200 Backstroke (1:43.83).
In his first year with the program, Anbar impressed in the pool, notching top 10 performances in the 400 IM (4th - 3:50.85) and 200 Breaststroke (6th – 1:56.96).
Will McCollumwas the only Blue Devils diver on the men's side to crack the top 10 performance list, tallying a score of 348.15 in the one-meter event.
Senior Blake Johnsonadded a pair of top 10 performances during the 2023-24 season, slotting fifth in the 200 Freestyle (1:35.72) and the 500 Freestyle (4:24.38).
