CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Duke swimming team wrapped up its regular season at the UNC Invitational Friday evening, with the Blue Devils totaling three event wins and a handful of podium finishes across three days of competition.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Senior Tatum Wall notched the first Blue Devil victory of the weekend, touching in 51.86 seconds to place first in the women's 100-yard butterfly.
- The Blue Devils swept the podium in the women's 100-yard freestyle behind strong showings from freshmen Sidney Arcella and Heather White and graduate student Emily Gantriis. White turned in a mark of 49.17 seconds to get the win, with Arcella (50.39) taking second and Gantriis (50.66) third.
- Junior Molly Donlan clocked 53.72 seconds en route to earning a win in the women's 100-yard backstroke. Sophomore Clare Logan took third with a time of 54.44 seconds.
- Jacob Hills finished runner-up in the men's 200 free after the junior finished his race in 1:41.63.
- Duke tallied a pair of second-place showings in the men's and women's 200 free, as senior Austin Simpson delivered a time of 1:51.37 while junior Ella Passe swam 2:03.32.
- Junior Emily Kanter competed in the women's 200-yard breaststroke and secured a third-place finish after hitting the wall in 2:22.93. Sophomore Alexa Conner took third in the women's 200 back via a mark of 1:55.87.

Duke shifts its attention to the postseason, starting with the ACC Championships. The conference meet will take place Feb. 15-21 inside the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
