CAPE COD, Mass. – Rising junior outfielder
Devin Obee has been named to the 2023 Cope Cod League All-Star Game. The game is set for Saturday at Harwich's Whitehouse Field. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
The Cape Cod Baseball League is the most prestigious of the college summer leagues and two Blue Devils began the summer on Cape Cod rosters, including Obee, a rising junior outfielder with Harwich, and fellow teammate,
Andrew Yu a rising junior catcher.
Obee has appeared in 24 games for the Mariners this summer, posting a .231 average at the plate. He has driven in 18 runs and blasted three home runs during the first half of the season. The Nashville, Tenn., native has drawn 13 walks and collected three extra base hits to his line.
The annual all-star game is a special tradition in the Cape League and the festivities also include a Home Run Derby.
