DURHAM – Nine Duke Blue Devils represent six summer ball leagues, after Duke appeared in its third Super Regional in program history.
Sophomore's
Devin Obee and
Andrew Yu head to the Cape Cod League this summer, joining the Hartwich Mariners, while sophomore
Sam Yelton travels to the Forest City Owls in the Coastal Plain League.
Freshman
Roman DiGiacomo and sophomore
Jimmy Romano were selected to the New England Collegiate Baseball League, as DiGiacomo will play for the Danbury Westerners, while Romano heads to the Martha's Vineyard Sharks.
David Boisvert joins the Burlington Sock Puppets in the Appalachian League this summer, while
Tyler Albright heads to Kalamazoo to play for the Kalamazoo Growlers out of the Northwoods League.
Freshman
Gabriel Nard and
Edward Hart round out the nine Blue Devils in summer ball leagues, both being selected to the Vermont Lake Monsters out of the Futures League.
