QUOTES
- "First credit to Virginia because they played really well today. Early was good and he didn't walk anybody and had eight strikeouts. They showed off their offense, which can be very explosive at times. I thought we helped them a little bit and that is not taking anything away from their performance today, but we spotted them a few leadoff walks and hit a few guys." – Head coach Chris Pollard on his overall thoughts about the game.
