DURHAM – Duke opens the 2023 ACC Championship on Tuesday evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, hosting NC State for the first of two pool play games. The Blue Devils are scheduled to play NC State and Miami this week, with the best record of the three advancing to the weekend.
Duke enters play with a 35-19, 16-13 ACC mark, after dropping the final two games in Coral Gables, Fla., to the Hurricanes last weekend. The Wolfpack are coming into the tournament on a high note, sweeping Pittsburgh on the final weekend of play. NC State sits at 34-18 with a 13-16 ACC ledger.

The backstop is batting .369 during that stretch, driving in 32 runs and collecting eight home runs. He has gathered 45 hits during that streak with nine doubles and is posting an OBP of .417.
- Duke pitching is having one of the best historical seasons under head coach Chris Pollard, producing 595 strikeouts. The mark is now second all-time in a single season, behind the 2019 squad with 598.
