Quotes
"Wake Forest is always scrappy and they play us pretty tough. We talked about making sure that we got off to a good start with the doubles. We talked about after the doubles, coming out and kind of raising our energy level in the singles and I thought we did that. I thought that doubles towards the end got a little bit flat. Our two team has been playing so well together and they've been mixing the ball up and getting off to great starts. I think everybody feeds off of that and so it was good to get off the court with another match in 48 hours. When we have that situation, we talk about trying to value every point that we play and get off the court as fast as we can. And we were able to do that." -- Duke head coach
Jamie Ashworth
"Funny how it works, because if you had asked me two months ago, I would have I would have never even thought to put them together. We threw them together one day in practice, and we're like, hey, let's just see what happens. I think their game styles really complement each other. Emma [Jackson] hits the ball so hard off the ground and Karolina [Berankova] has been doing a great job of finishing. They haven't given up a lot of free points and that's the key for them. It's been very clean every match they've played. Obviously, the matches keep getting tougher and tougher as we head toward the end of the regular season and then the postseason. Hopefully, they can they can build on that. They've got some confidence now and they're used to playing together. Hopefully, they can keep it going." -- Duke head coach
Jamie Ashworth on the No. 2 doubles team success
