QUOTES
- "It is really special. Our toughness was on display tonight. What a job by Gabriel Nard tonight out of the pen. He stayed patient and waited for his number to be called. He went out there and gave us two and two-thirds innings and bridged a gap for us tonight. The rest of the bullpen was really good. What a job my Jimmy Romano at the end and what can you say about Charlie Beilenson? Everyday Eddie. We keep putting him out there and he hit a fatigue wall there in the eighth but was tough enough to get off the field." – Head coach Chris Pollard on the job the entire pitching staff did to knock off No. 9 Campbell.
- "It was a really good job by Charlie and a really good job by Brady Kirkpatrick. He threw one breaking ball in the inning and probably the only breaking ball in his last four or five outings and it was a strikeout. He executed it to perfection to get us off the field. I told Brady that took a lot of guts. He asks our guys to do some tough things tonight and they all stepped up to the task." – On the execution of the entire staff to grind out another close victory to begin the week.
