DURHAM – The 11th-ranked Duke women's lacrosse team will travel to Charlotte, N.C., to take on 13th-ranked Notre Dame Saturday. Opening draw is set for 1:30 p.m., at American Legion Memorial Stadium on ACCNX.

Katie DeSimone tallied her 100th-career goal to help lead No. 11 Duke past Liberty, 18-4, in women's lacrosse action Tuesday evening at Koskinen Stadium. DeSimone poured in six points off five goals and an assist and now owns 147 points for her career to rank her tied for 24th in program history. Her 104 goals are 22nd in Duke lore. Senior goalie
Shaye Fitzpatrick saw her third career start in the cage and was phenomenal between the pipes as she collected a career-high 15 saves and just four goals against for a .789 save percentage.
SCOUTING THE IRISH
Notre Dame comes into Saturday's contest 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play after securing a 12-9 win over Clemson last weekend. Offensively, the Fighting Irish are led by Jackie Wolak with 21 points (12G, 9A), Kasey Choma with 18 points (15G, 3A) and Madison Ahern with 14 points (8G, 6A). Notre Dame sports three athletes with 15 or more draw controls as Mary Kelly Dohert has filled up the stat sheet with 15 draw controls, 10 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and five scores. With the departure of Bridget Deehan, junior goalie Lilly Callahan has stepped up in cage and owns an 8.27 GAA and a .516 save percentage.
IRISH CAUSING TROUBLE

The Blue Devils tallied a 15-12 win last March in South Bend before they dropped a 19-11 contest in the ACC quarterfinals.

Shaye Fitzpatrick saw just her third career start in the cage against Liberty and was phenomenal between the pipes. She collected a career-high 15 saves and just four goals against for a .789 save percentage. Fitzpatrick has quickly emerged as Duke's starting goalie with the absence of
Sophia LeRose and
Kennedy Everson. She boasts a 7.78 GAA and a .590 save percentage this spring.
