DURHAM - Junior Stephen Kim and senior Terence Lee captured All-America honors to highlight the second day at the NCAA Fencing Championship at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Through the second day of competition, Duke is ninth in the team standings with 33 points.Â
Lee entered the final day of the men's competition in 12th place and jumped three spots to finish ninth in the saber event. This marks the second consecutive season he has garnered All-America honors.Â
Finishing right behind Lee was fellow saberist Kim in 10th place, his second All-America nod of his career.Â
Sophomore epeeist Allen Marakov finished in 15th in his respective event.Â
With the men's portion of the NCAA Championship finalized, the women hit the strips Saturday and Sunday to round out the collegiate season, beginning at 9 a.m. Representing Duke will be Chloe Beittel (epee), Christina Ferrari (foil), Rachel Koo (foil), Kunling Tong (saber) and Anneke Zegers (saber).Â
The women's semifinal and championship bouts will be aired on ESPN+ Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. The team championship is a combined title for the men and women.Â
