Allen Named ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week

DURHAM – Senior Beau Allen was named the ACC Men's Field Performer of the Week after helping lead the men's squad to a first-place finish in the team standings and turning in a career-best performance at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational this past weekend.
Allen kickstarted his outdoor season with a bang, finishing runner-up in the high jump via a personal best of 2.17m (7-1.50 feet). The Santa Barbara, Calif., native's leap, which currently stands No. 2 nationally in the early going this season, improved his No. 3 all-time mark on the Duke charts.
Duke will head up the road to Raleigh to compete in the Raleigh Relays slated for March 23 to March 25.
